🌿 Overview
Experience two sides of Goldstream Provincial Park in one private adventure. Climb Mt. Finlayson for incredible views before descending into the lush rainforest to explore towering trees, forest pathways and Niagara Falls.
Along the way, there’s plenty of time for photos, breaks and exploring at your group’s pace. Depending on the season, we may also encounter salmon runs, bald eagles and other wildlife that make every visit to Goldstream a little different.
What to Expect
Your adventure begins with a quick welcome and safety briefing before heading toward Mt. Finlayson for the most challenging—and rewarding—part of the experience.
• Climb Mt. Finlayson with stops for breaks, viewpoints and photos along the way

This is an active outdoor adventure, not a sightseeing walk. Expect uneven terrain, elevation and a rewarding hike—but there’s no rush. We keep the experience relaxed and adapt the pace to your group.
Timeline
9:00 AM — Meet & Safety Briefing
Meet at the designated location near Goldstream Provincial Park for introductions, a safety briefing, and an overview of the route ahead.
9:15 AM — Mt. Finlayson Hike
Begin the guided ascent of Mt. Finlayson, with breaks along the way for viewpoints, photos, and interpretation.
11:15 AM — Descend & Return to Goldstream
Make our way back down Mt. Finlayson and transition into the forest trails of Goldstream Provincial Park.
12:00 PM — Goldstream Forest & Waterfall
Walk through the forest pathways toward the waterfall, exploring the rainforest and surrounding Goldstream area.
1:00 PM — Adventure Concludes
Return to the designated finishing point and conclude the guided adventure.
After the adventure: Guests receive a $20 lunch credit to enjoy at a participating local food provider.
Exact timing and route may vary depending on group pace, weather, trail conditions, and seasonal daylight.
🌲 Goldstream Provincial Park Adventure Tour
A private guided adventure combining one of Greater Victoria’s most rewarding hikes with the towering forests and waterfalls of Goldstream Provincial Park.
Begin with the climb up Mt. Finlayson, taking in incredible viewpoints along the way before descending into Goldstream’s temperate rainforest. From there, we’ll explore the forest trails and waterfall before looping back through the park.
Every adventure is private to your group, allowing us to adjust the pace, breaks and route to suit your experience.
